2/5/09 - 10:30 PM - Back to ICU

After a wild ride of rising and falling pressures, Alyssa returned tonight to the ICU where they are better able to monitor her pressures. This is a good change. Other than her blood pressure issues, she is still moving forward. We don't look at this as a step back, just a small blip on the radar screen. Besides, the ICU staff missed their little "miracle girl," so tonight we're holding a two day reunion.

Sorry but this has been a very emotional and tiring 36 hours. I just don't have anything left in the tank to write any more tonight.

  1. I know that you are exhausted, but thanks for making the time to keep us updated. Mom said that ICU would be good news at this point, so I am pleased she is back with this group of miracle workers. Get some much needed rest!

    Love you all!!

Well, where ever it is that will give her just what she needs is a good place. We are with you and will continue to keep Alyssa in prayer.

  3. I read this tonight and it was just what I needed and I know it will help all of you too!

"When people patiently and expectantly wait on God in the midst of horrible circumstances, SUDDENLY God breaks through. So don't give up! Don't stop believing! Stay full of hope and expectation. God's power is limitless, and He'll break through for you!"

It was in a Joyce Meyer article. She came through many tough, tough times in her life. You will come through this too. God has the day!
Love you all! See you in the morning.
